The Kansas Edge Begins with a Well Educated Workforce

Kansas has an excellent school system and boasts a high school graduation rate that is well above the national average. In addition, the state has a strong post-secondary education system that features seven public universities and 26 community and technical colleges spread across the state.

These institutions ensure that no matter where a business is located in Kansas, it will be able to recruit talented and educated workers from a nearby community. More than 30 percent of the state’s adult population has at least a bachelor’s degree, putting Kansas ahead of the national average once again.
